I have a Evil Insurgent frame which could do with some new headset bearings, the headset is ZS44/ZS56. Does anyone know what size bearings I will need as I cant seem find the info online and dont have the correct tools to measure accurately.

I have looked online but cant find anything 100% confirmed.

The ZS44/56 spec refers to the cup size. Unfortunately, the bearings that are in there can vary between headset manufacturers. You'd need to tell us exactly which headset has been used.

It is an FSA headset I think, or at least the top cover/cup is.

Cheers

You'll probably need the model as well.

Google + Evil insurgent headset= https://www.evil-bikes.com/products/insurgent-lb

Scroll down, select specification and you will see your answer

If you only need bearings then dont bother with the whole headset and save yourself some money

Even better if the top bearing is fine and just the bottom is knackered then just buy a bottom bearing

Just done this and the bearing cost me £11 compared to £35 for a whole headset for a Transition Patrol
