I use a Blackspire DSX C4 which is excellent and very quiet.
The bashguard mounting holes have recently cracked around the chainring bolts after a year or so. They lack metal inserts.

I've seen a few Straightline silent guides fitted which look and work very well and weigh nowt...

My Gamut has been great. New design does away with the bottom roller so it slides over a rubber O ring instead. Similar to the Straitline Silent guide.

Rick. Is that a retrofit? Got a gamut sitting at the bottom of a toolbox unused?

Make sure you check out the Straightline Racing 'silentguide'

I've got a LG1 and a Blackspire but the straightline is perfect!

That's ghe same as the Superstar one, just with a different name painted on.

Jam bo - don't know about being able to put the new bottom slider on instead of the roller. I hope so as mine will be worn out soon.

Finally got to test out my Sunline one and I like it so far. No hassle to set up and it seems to work without being too noisy.
