Lost my fidlock bottle in a silly crash tonight, can't stomach paying for another fidlock bottle. Have loads of normal bottles here, what side loading cage? Topeak ninja?

Specialized Zee is the correct answer. Just remember to pick the specific entry/exit side you need

I was looking for an inexpensive side loading cage and bought one of these from Decathlon

I have an Arundel side loader bottle cage. Nothing is getting launched from that. Very spendy though.

It was the only cage I could find that would fit at my bottle mounts seem lower than normal on my frame. If anyone can suggest a more affordable cage with the holes very low down, it would be much appreciated

My mate had a Zee and an Elite Prizm. He recommended the Prizm. Slightly cheaper.

I've had a few huge crashes and my bottle hasn't budged. Happy with it.

Was considering a Fidlock but might not bother now!

I binned off my fidlock for a similar reason. Got a Lezyne one now.

Bought one from AliExpress. Cost about 2quid posted. Needed one for my starling.
Can't get my head round the cost of posh bottle holders.

Ciussi. You shouldn't ever need to buy another cage.

Been using the Alpkit Sideblades on the gravel bike with no issues. Cheap and seem grippy enough.

https://alpkit.com/products/sonder-sideblade.

Mountainbikes I use a hydration pack because it's just a much better solution for actual mountainbiking.

FWIW I think there were some fidlock bottles in the www.bikester.co.uk clearance thingy.

Might not save much after post if you're only after one bottle mind.

I've got the zefal one. Been fine for a couple of years so far.
You can slide it up & down on the bottle bosses, so maximize the size of bottle that fits.
