Tom Van Steenbergen's unreal segment.

Fast, fun, flowy trail riding. Incredible Rider, so stylish. 3 minutes that just make me want to grab my bike, throw on some pyjamas, and head to the woods.

The whistler segment on Roam.

Pretty much all of Roam, tbh...

WHAT BIKE IS Tom Van Steenbergen ON?

He's on a Trek (remedy or slash I presume)

Simon Tabron @ Tony Hawks ramp, it's flying with a bicycle.

Unfortunately I can't jump, or add video links in the new age, so if someone could add the video, that'd be ace.

Anything like that Ultimate USA Roadtrip video on STW front page recently.

Blue skies, heat, dry dusty trails and fantastic scenery. I can see it replaying in my mind as I prepare for biking here in Scotland with my base layers, waterproof shorts, thermal gloves, MW80's.....

Still, not long 'till September!

CHRIS AKRIGG - AS IT LIES

Everything about this video is perfect. The music, the locations, the riding. Love it.

Chainspotting

Riding may be tamer then a lot on YouTube etc but it gets me really up or a ride and desperate to turn a crank

Great soundtrack probably makes it

Nate Hills with Followcam Friday. Great scenery and some outstanding riding I'd love to be able to do 1/10th of - but makes me want to try.

Rich

P.s. Great post, OP.

Holby City or anything else medical or Pretty Woman/Dirty Dancing. Makes me want to foxtrot Oscar pretty sharpish.

In the past it was probably some freeby MBUK dvds like the old Kona ones.

I love Vast, it's just so much more relatable (one scene even ends in a trip to hospital), but still awesome. Great soundtrack too.

Any Bryceland/ Brendog/ Barnes/ Akrigg clip all make me look, I like them just tearing about having fun.

But the standout for me is the Stevie Smith / Gee Atherton segment in New Zealand, from Follow Me. Nothing comes close.

Any of Chris Akrigg's trail riding videos, especially A Hill In Spain and Trial Trails. Relatable riding but taken to the nth level. Way Back Home in a similar vein from Danny Mac. Still also a sucker for most of Life Cycles.

Honestly? American Flyers.

Or at least the memory of it.

I'm not sure it would stand up to scrutiny now! 🙂

yeah it has to be relatable, 50/01 and Dudes of Hazard stuff for me. dickin about in the woods.

have no interest in the glossy Semenuk type stuff.

loved that farmer patrol vid that was vital yesterday too!

Good thread! For me, it's usually something that looks rideable to mere mortals and/or involving generally having a laugh on bikes with mates.

Tito Tomasi vids look amazing and any of the drop in series. Would love to drop everything and go dicking around on a tour of great riding spots for 2 months!

The original solo/5010 video with Steve Peat in Torridon does it for me. In fact, I haven't watched it since getting my new TV. Off to put kettle on...

Tom Van Steenbergen’s unreal segment.

That just makes me want to watch Return of the Jedi.
