So it's been sat sadly un ridden and demoted to the shed for the last 10 months ever since its shiny new sibling arrived. It's quite frankly funked however, ridden to within an inch of repairability over the last 5 years. However I sat on it the other day and it stirred memories of 26" wheels and short wheel base climbing ease.
Strip down turn it into a 1x10 winter bike?
Put hybrid type wheels/tyres on it and use it to commute when my new site kicks off?
Or just leave it in the shed?

I use my old full susser as the shop, mess about bike, ever since the arrival of the 29er hardtail, which is so much fun.
Although reverb and maxle are a bit ott for shop kit 😉

Sell it and buy a singlespeed rigid for some winter self flagellation.

Quite common situation I would think...pondering for the last 12 months what to do with my Hemlock frame after its successor arrived 😕

I sold a frame for a tenner the other week. They are happy, I'm better off and my cellar is less cluttered.

I tend to give mine away or sell very cheaply to someone either looking to get into biking or looking for a frame/bike/components for spouse/children.

Otherwise it just clutters up the garage and depreciates even more.

Pay it forward

I gave mine to a mate who wanted to come and ride trails with us, but couldn't afford a decent bike.
It done a few hundred more miles now .
