I just sold my snowboard and bindings for £100 quid. Another fad which didnt take so what should I buy for my new fad? My bike?
Jacket?
Shoes?
New hydration pack?
Or a Fox flux helmet?
Decent shoes and then use the rest on a jacket.
What kinda shoes for flatties?
Bin that idea off if you are a flatty.
Camelbac and jacket.
It's got to be 5:10s for flats, the difference is amazing. Try and get one of the newer more water-resistant models, as they're a bugger to dry.
Or, there are some real bargains HERE

I’m with alexpalacefan. 5:10’s, if you ride flats they are as good as it gets. Fox flux helmet is excellent too.
Drink, drugs and a penny whistle.
i just bought an endura stealth jacket and i can not believe how good it is.
Which do you need most?
Flux is very good. Bit big, maybe a bit heavy, stupid barryboys rear spoiler, and only limited sizes but it's very comfy and stable if it fits. Better than my Hex, I reckon.
For flats, 5 10s are largely hype... Yes, they're extremely grippy. But with decent footwork, a pair of cheap vans is more than grippy enough. Nice to have but no way an essential. I wear my old Vans as often as my 5 10s, as they're comfier, nicer to walk in and better made.
well I'm wearing new balance running shoes just now which are in no way waterproof and there freezing.
So probably shoes would be most essential. Maybe a jacket or leggings as well
