You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
To replace Endura Singletracks? They’ve gone on for years but are now starting to fall apart.
Ideally looking for something similar (cordura/nylon).
Same again if they've done you good. Bit of brand loyalty if they last, never again if not...
Very good question. I picked up a pair of Endura Singletrack mk3s last year in the closeout sale, which feel like they'll probably only last a bit over a year. But the new Mk4 claims to be back to the strength and durability of the originals/ Mk2.
Only thing for me is the new design doesn't have belt loops 🙁

Would do, but they’ve changed the design and as above they’re not meant to be anything like as good.
I bought a pair of the new ones after avoiding them for years due to them ripping at the crotch.
New ones felt like great quality, fitted really well and had some nice features.
I kid you not after 6 rides ripped at the crotch!!
Refunded under warranty, so as above I'm also looking for a new pair of well fitted shorts with reinforced panel / DWR on the arse.
Madison.

Is that the new ones that they say are 'back to bulletproof'?
I loved my original and Mk2 Singletracks, which eventually only died due to taking a large branch to the groin. If I'd known how the build quality would change, I would've bought half a dozen pairs.
I was gutted when they screwed up the hummvees too. I’m yet to find a replacement.
Think I'll just delete that :]
Madison here, got the zenith and really impressed with the quality and construction. Only downside is the pockets openings are a bit small and pocket zips are a bit bulky.
I use Decathlon ST900's. My last 2 pairs lasted 2 years and just picked up another couple of new pairs. The stretchy material is super comfy and the pockets are just the right size and position.
They describe them as snag-resistant, and I have never torn or ripped them on various degrees of vegetation!
Love my MK2s - still got two pairs. One of which I've had repaired numerous times and the other I keep for sunday best.
Repaired? sod that, lifetime warranty on madison shorts, if stitching or zip goes, brand new pair. Sorted.

I’ll have a look at those. I’ve got a Madison jacket which I thought was good value as is well made.
Dakine in your choice length and bagginess.

I take it that doesn't cover them wearing through on the arse after nine months...
I swore by Dakine 8 tracks but the last pair I got aren't as tough as the first two incarnations.
Sportspursuit have got some absolute bargains on Madison stuff at the mo. I just picked up a pair of Roam shorts reduced from £55 to £19.99!! Got addicts and zenith etc too, just not in my size. Arrived yesterday, quality seems really good and lifetime warranty sounds like a winner. Link here...

Another Madison fan here. Really liked my Zeniths. Did find that they were a tad short in the leg, and a bit oversized in tbe waist, but the quality is excellent. I bought some Madison Four Seasons with the waterproof arse panel and they are superb. They sit just below the knee, and have a zip panel along the leg for extra venting.
if your original shorts have gone at the stitching but the fabric is still intact then you could try getting them repaired - any clothing repair place can do it. Luckily I have a mum who can operate a sewing machine so my original Humvees are good for a few more miles yet.
I have the newer ones too and they seem sturdy but they have a lot to live up to.
I've bought a few bargain Madisons - the Roam are too short in the leg, so they're commuting shorts
Zeniths looked ok.
RaceFace shorts can't be beaten ime. Fit and durability is better than most I've had. Indy or Trigger I have (although they're not DWR)

Dakine syncline. Love em
My Madison ones are good but also really like the Morvelo ones. Nice and simple.
