Hi all
need a shock pump to replace my worn out rockhox model and also it needs to be able to read up to 350psi.
Any recommendations please.
Have a leyzene digital shock pump, been disappointed by the quality off it before it died after about 18 months. I wouldn’t get another one, Shame as like their normal pumps.
Cheap Beto one is very good (you can find it under loads of brands, sometimes even cheaper)
Bontrager one seems to work well and has a 400psi gauge
Bought an SKS USP shock pump for work a couple of years back,a bit more expensive than most, but it's still going strong. To put it into perspective, we very rarely got more than about 4 months use out of any of the run of the mill pumps before they died a death.
I really like the double thread on the topeak pump. It minimises the air loss as you remove it.

Yup, big Leyzne fan here, gave up on the shock pump (Digital Shock Drive) after 2 second one went back under warranty. They completely failed to take into account that fact that you have to hold the thing somewhere in order to use it.
Replaced with a Lifeline Digital. Seems to be exactly the same as the RockShox and Fox ones, but with a smaller chuck (which i can't see ever really being an issue) and half the price.
Not sure of the max pressure, but I have the synchros digital one and it’s brilliant
We have the Syncros one, its first class on how the head works but think it only goes up to 300psi
However be aware that the size of its head and adaptor means it won't fit all shocks that have limited room to get to the valve

No shock pump should ever lose air from the shock as you remove it, if it does it's just not really a shock pump tbh. If it's a double thread type then what you're hearing is the pressurised air escaping from the pump, not the shock.
I bought the Topeak purely for the reason that there is less hiss of escaping air when you disconnect it.
I have no idea where that Hissing is coming from, but I’m cautious to believe that no shock pumps let any air whatsoever out of the shock when you disconnect them.
The pump lets go of the plunger on the valve (therefore sealing the shock) before releasing its own pressure to atmosphere. No reason a shock should lose any pressure. You'd know if it did - try manually releasing some pressure (ie poking the valve) and see what effect even the smallest release has
