Bit of an odd question perhaps but I am looking for opinion on what the options are on secondhand 4" full suss XC frame? I have been out of the loop MTB wise for a couple of years so looking for advice on what the best options on a moderate budget.
You don't say what your "moderate" budget is but I'd be looking for a Stumpjumper FSR from around 2008 for £250-£300. Great xc bikes and plenty out there so you can be choosy.
+1 Stumpy. Or Ellsworth Truth.
Giant Anthem ftw
how tall are you? 4" sounds on the small side.
given some of the frames for sale at low prices recently on here around 4 inch travel
Turner flux
maverick ml7.5 or durance
anthem or trance
ellsworth truth or ephiany
xc racey pronghorn
yeti asr-sl
Best option is a new HT, rather than a s/h FS frame that might need a shock/bearings/bushings service/replacement.
Turner Flux is 4" travel
What size are you? I have a 19" large for sale
I am 6' with 33" leg and it fits really well
Turner pivots last ages and shock works perfectly

I have a medium Asr-sl if you fancy it let me know twill be cheap.
Giant
Turner
Marin/White
Don't think you would like any Spesh
Have you sold the Commencal?
What frankers is selling
br...he has 2 good hardtails
Im 6 foot, already have two hardtails so dont need another one, looking for project and a short travel full suss prob sub £500 for frame n bits and bobs...
Some of the new spesh frames arent bad trekster, are the BB's still as low? Size really needs to be large.
I have a complete Flux that is being split up, minus the forks that are already sold
