I currently ride a carrera subway but find it hard going so its been sold.
I am looking for a commuter with larger wheels for around £250 to 300 quid??
So far ive seen a few Boardmans but was just wondering if there was anything else I could have a look at.
Would a cheap 29er with slick tyres be ok?
What can you suggest?

I was wondering the same thing when I thought I was going to be joiing another company, so had considered an Alfine hubbed Cannondale Bad Boy 8. The Internetz suggest they do a 29er version, but I'm not sure that you would be able to get a second hand one for your sort of money.
The one I was watching on eBay went for 200 notes.
