[Closed] What seatpost with infinite angle adjustability?

I need a new seatpost for my beast... Because of the angle of the 'seat tube' it needs to be one that allows much more tilt than normal - something like a raceface XY0 for example (which unfortunately I can't find)

Any suggestions other than the really expensive posts? I don't really want anything expensive as TBH, my mantra is only for fun (I basically got it for free).

Needs to be 31.6 and 400+ length, no layback.

(the saddle in the pic works with the current post but has oddly angled rails which allow it to be set flat - other saddles end up pointing at the sky)

Have you tried an i-beam seatpost, they have quite alot of adjustment?

USE sumo or Hope post as said above.
Or another post with that type of clamp

Have a look at the Race Face Turbine seat post. Comes in a variety of diameters. The adjustment of angle is independent of the clamp by having a sliding collar and cam.

I have one on my Evil Sov. No problems so far,

Thomson Elite? Defo long and strong enough, not sure about the range of adjustment tho

Or have a look for a Salsa Shaft, that has a fairly unusual clamping set-up

nbt - I'd considered that but I prefer a bigger dia post given the angle and my size - I've bent a few posts in my time which in turn writes off the Sumo as I don't reckon they're all that strong...

Hope's an option but maybe rather expensive.

Clubber, I have an almost new 400mm x 31.6 Race Face XY, not XYO, so does have some layback but you can shuffle the seat forward and the differnce between an XYo and an XY is ~20mm ( I have both, just the XYO is 250mm long)

any use to you?

Clubber, how did you fit a rear disc to your Mantra? I have one of these gathering dust in my parents garage, you've just alerted me to the possibility of resurrecting it as a singlespeed!

KCNC SC Pro Lite has lots of adjustment. I think it's available in that size.

thorpy - mine came with a Hope C2 with the right adaptor but you can bodge one otherwise with an A2Z adaptor I believe. Like this:

(You can get them in the UK, just the first link I found)

Thanks for that clubber, so yours has a hayes 22mm mount? Don't think mine has that (will have to check). Maybe its an older model.
