need another saddle for the bike ive just built up. my other bike has an old rocket on it, ive always liked them and usually bought second hand ti railed versions.

google shows im somewhat behind the times now, so has anyone either got an old one gathering dust somewhere that theyd sell, or know of a newer make/model that would be a similar shape/feel?

thanks

I like a WTB rocket too. Whyte's own brand saddle is working for me on that bike

WTB Volt, same sort of top shape with a lower side profile.

You can still get the rocket. I bought a brand new one about 6 weeks ago.

@sadexpunk Sorry, the saddle seems to have vanished!
Will have a better look later when making a tip run (cleaning garage) but, it isn't where I thought it was so not sure where else it would be.

‘Madisons’ own brand saddles are well regarded in tests and can have fairly similar profiles to the wtb stuff.

I know it's all personal stuff but I can't ride the Velo 1205 shape (Madison Flux, Charge Spoon and others) for more than 3-4hrs but I can ride all day on a Rocket/Volt. The WTBs are different down the centre area and I get no numbness from them which is the main problem with the 1205, which until that numbness point are a comfy shape.

Kona likes to spec wtb saddles.

Now and again, they turn up on eBay…

When my rocket wore out I went back to a SDG Bell-Air. Cheap too.

Have ridden 12+ hour rides on it with no issues.

They have a different underside make-up to what they used to have so should hopefully avoid the horrific creaking the old ones used to get

Not sure which one it is. It's not especially light, 342g, but seems in good condition.

If you're still after one, a tenner posted?

Same here (love for rockets) I've found two that are close; The WTB Silverado, and the Specialized Phenom.
