I'm just about to start building up my Singular Rooster and am wondering what rim options are out there. I'm leaning toweards the Velocity Dually ones as I want them in silver but wondering if the collective hive mind has any other ideas?

Hello again, I've got velocity duallys purely because I wanted a tubeless set up. Tubeless was a doddle - some Stans yellow rim tape covered in some gorilla tape - inflated with a topeak floor pump no bother. Added about 120ml of stans sealant, jobs a goodun!

If silver is your thing then velocity do the blunt 35 the dually is wider though I think. Only velocity offer silver rims now.
I have Hugos and would fully recommend them. 1000miles so far with no issues including carrying loads.

Managed to pick up a pair of new unbuilt Dually in silver with silver Hope Pro II hubs off the classifieds. Going to look spanking on the Blue Rooster with the rest of the silver finishing kit I've got 😀
