Currently I’m in the fortunate position of having two pretty pimp carbon road bikes. However, truth be told I’m only really riding one of them and the other (more pimp of the two) is pretty much unused. The flip side of this is that I don’t have a winter bike with mudguards. So I’m thinking I’ll build something up with the kit off my Cervelo to ride in all weathers including commuting and club rides. I’ve got a disc brakes Open but I’d rather keep that for off road excursions and I don’t really want to leave it in central London everyday.

So, I’m looking for a frame with the following

di2 capable

mudguard mounts

fairly racey geometry - I like quite a big saddle to bar drop

threaded BB (if possible)

rim brakes

qr front and rear

Any ideas?

Hmm I did consider this but it looks like external routing which doesn’t play well with Di2

Budget? Deep drop calipers presumably out?

Kinesis 4S? Fairly sure you can run that with either rim or discs

Ideally I’d like to avoid deep drops, although I’d like to run 28mm tyres. Budget around £1500 but obviously less is betterer!

Ive had a 4s and didn’t really get on with it. Found it a little flexy and the paint was dreadful!

£1500 will just about get you onto a kinesis GF Ti frameset

BMC roadmachine? Not sure if it's disc only though.
