Im after a spare set of pads for my XT rear brakes as weekend in the Lakes next weekend. Running 203 up front with 180 at the back.

Still got the ones that came on the bike now so could just get the same. Yonks since I bought pads and wondered if there was a go-to brand these days. Cheers

Boringly, my go-to brand for Shimano is...Shimano Resin. Lasts longer than anything else I've tried.

Think I’ve got a couple of sets of Uberbikes that I could do you a deal on as I no longer use them.

Otherwise I heard that Direttissima Shimano replacement pads are very good!

I've used Gorilla, Disco bikes and Uberbike. Of those I think I preferred the Uberbike Sintered at the top, followed by the Discobike and Gorilla  but rather uselessly I can't recall exactly what kind. The Discobikes were good but the squeal was unbearable. The Gorilla I remember nothing about. They were just pads. I say this as a very low level rider of course. If they were all comparable price I'd go Uberbike.

Shimano G01S - bicycle brakes (Disk brake, Resin) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0086CH9IK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_hQSjBbZB6MEYV

£5.60 prime on amazon, I got a shed load of the G02A resin pads for £4-£4.50 in recent weeks on amazon
