my rp23 has worn out, part i need is not available so need to get something else which is proving harder than i expected, the bike is a cotic hemlock which has a very linear frame, need something that progressive, good small bump sensitivity and can handle big hits without blowing though its travel,
ive looked at monarch-plus-rc3-debonair but tf tuned advised against due to reliability issues repair costs. also looked into cane creek db in line air but a Google search also throws up reliability issues. size is 200x50

recently bought a dvo topaz to replace my ccdb coil and i love it. Plenty of diy resource on their website for both servicing and tuning too.

think reliability issues with CCBD inline are now resolved. they updated internals.

i didn't have any issues with my ccdb, the swap was more to save weight. After some research i decided to go for the dvo as all the reviews i read were good.

the ccdb is a second hand shock so I've no idea on the internals. ive had a measure on my frame snd any thing with a piggy back can is goiyto hit the frame or be very close, for my riding anything eitjya piggy back is probably overkill.

anyone got a Fox Float factory DPS Rear Shock?

Recently picked up a DVO topaz for my bronson, initial findings are great I just need to tinker more with the settings. For me it has the right level of customisation to keep me interested and not feel like it's just guess work.
