they cost buttons, and they'll last years if you know how to use cone spanners.
they're not exactly heavy either, my slx rear hub weighed about 350 grams.
sounds lovely too, just a very quiet soft purring from the freewheel.

I used to jam my hope with grease and it was silent-pre Pro2.
Kings are even noisier than hope.
