My trusty Topeak Mountain Morph (Turbo, I think) has pretty much huffed its last after what must be close to ten years of abuse, so I figure it doesn't owe me anything and it's probably about time I spent some money on something new.

So the choice at the moment seems to be between another Mountain Morph and the Lezyne Micro Floor Drive, both with gauges.

Anything else I should look at in the same price range? Any bargains around? Ta!

I really like my Lezyne Pressure Drive, not too expensive and very nicely made. I've had it four years and it still works like new. The hose is very useful, allowing you to swap between presta and schrader easily.

Got the mountain morph in the big bag and the road bike. Lyzene on the race bag for the small size

We've been mtbing for 25 years so had our fair share of junk pumps from all the major manufacturers (SKS, Blackburn, Topeak, Cannondale, Specialized, Zefal etc etc).

Around 2007 we stumbled on Axiom pumps which were way better but a bit hard to find. Their road bike pumps are also great for mtbs (surprisingly quick and need very little effort to get proper pressures). I'll often just grab the mini pump in the garage as quicker than finding the track pump / dragging out the airline.

Since then we discovered Rose Bikes sell the same pump under their Xtreme label for around £10. At that price we've stockpiled a few spares so should last us forever, and every one is still working like new. Cannot rate them highly enough.

Had a mountain morph for ages, replaced it with the lezyne cos it looked similar but better but soon bought another mountain morph for MTB cos I found the alloy lezyne gets a bit sticky to pump in bad conditions when you always seem to need a pump. Only thing wrong with the morph is it needs a bit longer hose

Heh, so you can! I should probably just do that rather than just getting something new and shiny for the sake of it.

Cheers nedrapier (and everyone else).

I quite like the PX cheapy plastic pumps and they are light and work well.

However I recently lost mine as the bracket on the waterbottle isn't the best, so I need to figure out some what the attach it more securely.

Truflo Minitrack is ace- about the same size as a Morph but a little bit better built, and telescopic so inflates a lot faster. Does have a slightly annoying screw-on chuck though.

That's interesting Northwind, popped into the LBS today and they didn't have anything in stock, but they could order me one of those in.
