For a while I've had the oddball idea of fixing a water pump up to my turbo trainer, in order to have an 'eco friendly' way to water the garden from the water butt.
Ignoring the fact that in reality the cost of the butt and equipment likely outweighs any savings that can be made, I've gone ahead and ordered a few bits!

Firstly:

It's a drill-powered water pump, but I plan to weld a cog to it and fix a cog to the turbo, linked by a chain.

I've found this website, which has a variety of cheap cogs on it, but I'm unsure which one to get.
The shaft on the pump is 6mm, so that would be a start, but don't know which pitch/spacing etc I'd need!
Help would be appreciated|!

Ta,

Bicycle chains are half inch pitch, so you'd probably want a sprocket that was for 1/2 x 3/32 chain.
