Or any other pedals for less than 38 quid.
If you go a bit over £38 you could get some DMR V12 Magnesiums which I love, and are also pretty light.
Horizon Comp is getting scarce (and more expensive) except in ugly colours but is bloody excellent- and for me definitely better than the Electron Evo.
As a lifetime DMR fanboy, I've got Superstar Nanos on one bike, and v12s on the another.
I much prefer the Nanos 😮
Bearings seem to last better(and replacements are cheaper) platform feels more stable, and they're noticeably slimmer. They've shrugged off a lot of hits and are looking a bit tatty after 2 and a half years, but considering they cost me less than 30 quid in one of Superstar's regular sales, I'm bloody impressed.
Other pedal - Carbon Cycles Exotic alloy. Quite a big platform with plenty of pins on it. Anodised so no paint to chip / wear off. Bearings on mine are still silky smooth after more than a year with no maintenance required. Think they’re £33 ish.

I would buy two pairs Superstar Nano but they have no pedals in stock. still looking around but Horizon comp looks good.
Electrons seem to be high on the axle so feet don't sit right.
I've gone for neutrons and they're spot on.
I usually go wellgo b54 but they seem to be discontinued
You need to look at the Nano X evo. Loads in stock.
Exotic alloy are good but a tad heavy 430g compared to Horizon comp 318g I'm only doing light xc so I buying the Nukeproof looks likely.
Nano X evo. Loads in stock. I see them now (half a sleep lol)I thought they were all sold out.
my new version v12's have been great, prefer them to the nanos I had before. Bearing are only expensive if you buy them in a bag that says DMR on it.
+1 for Nano X
HT components plastic jobbies. Grippy light and cheap .
Use code SUNHOORAY for 20% off the Nano Evos
Just to add the Carbon cycles exotic alloy seem to be almost exactly the same weight as the v12 and nano x.
Wellgo MG1 is pretty light - I’ve got them on my hardtail and the body is magnesium. They are painted though so some of the paint rubs off.
Nano's are very good. Easy to service and spares available.
Wellgo MG1 still going strong after 8 years (I had to grease them for the first time last week)
V12's also very good and just got a replacement set from Evans for 50p as I used my Tesco Clubcard points 🙂
I bought a pair of Electron EVO a couple of weeks ago. They have "solved" the high axle thing by making the pedal a bit less low profile so now the axle is the level with the rest of the cage. Light, strong, cheap, but the v12s are good too. Maybe a bit stronger and heavier. Take your pick
I'm not really impressed by my pedals with an outboard bearing and an inboard bushing. The Exotic ones specify "twin" sealed bearings - presumably that means two sealed bearings per pedal? ("twin bearings, yup, one in each pedal" would be really cheeky no?).
Any others in this price range that have two bearings? It's not obvious from some of the specs.
I've had the exotics and the original nanos and they were basically the same pedal rebranded by each reseller, though this was a few years ago. there's 2 bearings next to each other outboard and a bush inboard iirc.
