I'm going to see a man about a Bafang next week.

Ideally to convert Mrs B's nice pink Voodoo Canzo FS into ebike.

However, if battery placement is likely to be an issue then using so of the spares I have in the garage to build up a hardtail will be an option.

Medium frame. Ideally one which will take a 135 x 12 Shimano MT68 rear wheel plus the Sektors @ 150mm travel.

What would work?

Anyone got one surplus???

Thanks all.

135x12 is a bit rare, I'm not aware of any hardtail frame running that axle. Plenty of frames running QR rear.

Thinking about it...I also have QR rear wheel.

Chameleon....mmm....will message you.

However, keep them coming....QR rear is an option!

one which will take a 135 x 12 Shimano MT68 rear wheel

My old Commencal Ramones had replaceable dropouts and would accept a 135x12 wheel...

plus the Sektors @ 150mm

...but it would be wildly over-forked at 150mm. Far happier at 120mm

If she's not too tall
Dartmoor 4X is 135x12, light, strong and cheap.
They're 14" seat tube but not actually all that short being meant for mens 4X racing.
but lower the sector to 120mm.

They only have clearance for a 2.2 rear tyre due to the sub 16" stays

Production Privee Shan frame? I have one with the QR dropouts but you can change them (if they still have them in stock)

Pretty sure the dmr exalt was designed exactly for this... 150mm forks and changeable dropouts for your axle.

Prince Albert Classic? Possibly better with a shorter fork, but I've got 120/150 Sektors on mine and it does different things pretty well at both settings.

When I was looking for a 150mm-ish ht frame a few years back I got offered plenty on here. Narrowed it down to a Chameleon and a Transition Trans-Am. Was leaning towards the Trans but then bought new instead.
