Okay so my new wheels are on there way, I've gone for Stans arch ex rims and I'm hoping to re-use my old folding conti rubber queens. How do I make the blighters tubeless then? A shopping list would be appreciated!
I have switched to Slime Pro liquid sealant for tubeless as it doesnt go off when you use CO2 cartridges and stays fluid for longer than Stans etc.
Whatever you do, add some sort of ghetto inflator or a compressor to the list. Whilst you can manage without in some cases, the ghetto inflator costs next to nothing and makes the whole thing much almost hassle-free.
I bought a kit from Hope specifically for my Flow rims - includes valves / tape / sealant and instructions. I imagine there's a similar one for Arch rims (unless you need a rimstrip?).

Superficial - Is that kit just for proper ust rims or will that be all I need for my arch ex rims?
Stans tape, stans jizz and valve's.
Conti's in my experience go up really easily on Stans rims.
Currently running Race Kings on 355's and they went up with a track pump with alarming ease (compared to Nobby Nics in the past)
I'm hoping to re-use my old folding conti rubber queens.
Great tyres
But a BASTARD to seal tubeless! They're just sooooooo porous. Have put maybe a pint of Stans solution in one now over the last 4 months, and it still won't hold more than 10psi for a day! It holds 30psi for the length of a ride, but once I put it in the shed, its lost its pressure again.
My advice... Buy the UST version!
