Absolutely no idea where to start, its been years since I had to buy any (Lake's mid high boots whcih used to be waterproof for winter + 661 jobs for summer + commute).
Looking to spend around £100 though can go a bit higher for something worth it.
Mid high/cuffed boot thats water proof or at least wind proof (and just add overboots to make reasonably winter proof).
Stiff'ness is a factor as I'm often out for a few days at a time and aching/numb feet is not something I get from decent carbon road shoes but I do from just about any MTB shoe I've ever had. I don't walk much off the bike.
Bright colours are fine.
Cheers!
North wave Celsius artics, bought some last winter and they were outstanding. Quick Google says price has gone up a tad this year though. But they are very good.
Shimano MW81's of course! Reasonably stiff & loverly & warm too 🙂
+1 for Shimano MW81's absolutely brilliant!
I use the rose.de winter boot. Looks a bit agricultural but was a godsend last winter
