No, not the magazine...
Last night a colleague asked me what I would recommend for £900 to buy on our bike to work scheme. Its been a while since I looked for a bike at this price point. Anyone got any suggestions on what hits the sweet spot?

Scott scale and a giant talon are roundabout 900 with a nice discount too.
I'd struggle to look past the sub 1K on ones myself, whippet, lurcher and 456 all available for under a grand complete.
Obvious statement that he'll get more spec with a HT. Also is he restricted as to where he can buy from ? What type of riding does he like/want to do ?
Halfords or LBS would be the best place to start, especially if the scheme has restrictions.
And a HT.
Voodoo Bizango got bike of the year in a another publication and on its test I was supposedly better than all the bikes around the £1k mark. My work mate bought one as a result and it's a nice looking machine, does the job and only £600

For the money this looks like a great buy, really good reviews too! You would save some money so could upgrade a few bits if you wanted.
