Looking at some new wheels for my Topstone Sora (already upgrade to GRX),
Two primary objectives:
- Save a little weight
- Be tubeless ready
No budget as such (deffo sub £1000 though) but cant decide whether to buy Hunt/other fairly cheap alloy wheel
Or get something with a proper durable hub eg chris king/I9/DT and a carbon rim from light bicycle or similar
Only space for 42mm on the topstone so dont need crazy wide and would be nice if they were narrow enough rim to just run a 25mm tyre so they could deputize as a spare road bike wheel.
Im only 65kg and pretty light on kit generally but go through bearings on cheap hubs quite fast..
oh and my gravel riding errs on the side of lots of off road and bits of singletrack and very little road time
What would you buy?
