Think of getting some Funn G Wide bars for a monstercross project which will benefit from some long and comfy bartape, any suggestions?

I recently bought Fizik Terra bar tape which I’m impressed with. Really comfy and grippy so would highly recommend (disclaimer- I have little experience of other bar tapes!)

I splurged on the only Enve stuff I own. The bar tape is very long, very comfortable and very expensive at £35 from Saddleback. Does also seem very high quality and looks like it will last a long time though

I went for some spank flare tape and the gel pads underneath. Super comfy!

Wrap over current tape if you like it to fill your grasp 😉

I've just double wrapped my bars, it feels amazing testing up and down my road.

Giving it a proper run out soon hopefully.

Got some nice fizik tape cheap off CRC, fwiw.

Recently fitted some Tortec Super Comfort which is very nice.

Definitely prefer it to Lizard Skins. It is longer too.

As double wrap for the win.

Though we got taught in school it's not safer 👀

Bontrager Perf Line for me or rather my wife.

Wraps nicely. Thick but not too thick and good grip.

Works for me. Can get it cheap in horrible colours 🙂

I've bought Supacaz tape twice and it's been absolutely shredded within less than 1000 miles both times.

I bought some Pro Bike stuff over the summer. Has a nice feel but very disappointed with how short it was. I ended up with gaps around the shifters as I didn't have enough to loop back around. Also plugs were super low quality.

I have Bontrager double thickness tape on the same bars (50cm). Plenty long enough and comfy.
