I am wanting to upgrade my poor lights and I have wittled it down to three.

Now the first one is really a cheap option as like everyone I would like to spend as less as I can.

1) Nite Rider Minewt Mini USB Plus (Like I say cheap option)
2) Hope 4 LED
3) Hope Vision 2 LED Li-Ion

Now, I wont be doing any 24h races in the near future, ill be using it for commuting and also night rides with the club approx 2.5 - 3h rides.

Now the Hope 4 is obviusley the more powerful one but is it that much better that the others?

TIA for your help.

Just a suggestion. Tredz website have the Vision 4 on offer with 27% off at £219. I suspect that this price will not last for very long (which is why I have just ordered one)

Hope 4 gives a nice spread of light and is certainly powerfull enough to use on its own. The only downside for me is that there is no battery warning light to let you know when you are about to run out of juice. But if you are only using for 3-4hr rides then this shouldnt be a problem...
