Currently running a Love Mud Rumpus on the rear with a 3" tyre. Fairly sure the Rumpus is made out of an old anchor.

I'm not having much luck googling as 27.5+ appears to not actually mean anything in the search results!

Any suggestions? What you running?

Just bought a set of Hope Fortus 35, seem to be a decent price

There is a set of SRAM hubs on Arc40 on CRC for £100

You can get it down a wee bit lower than that actually! Arcs are kind of shit- very soft- but still, that's a crazy price. And you can get the rims for £23 each.

Sorry, I wouldn't usually do this but I have a pair of NON BOOST American Classic Wide Lightings that will comfortably take a 3" tyre. The rear is QR but I think that can be converted. They're true, barely used and shipped in the UK for £100

Thanks for the offers chaps but I only need the rear (non-boost shimano hub) and I'm looking for something with a minimum 35mm inner diameter.

I'll have a look at those ARC 40 rims and maybe a cheap deore hub and have a go at building a wheel! Or more likely I'll keep the Rumpus and moan about it until i break it.

I bought a pair of Arc40 rims built onto Pro 4 hubs from CRC when they did a silly deal on them some time ago. Fitted with 2.8" Nobby Nics and they have never put a foot wrong.

Been on a monster truck full suspension and now on my hard tail. Despite 120Kg on top of them, they've been fine since day one. Admitedly I'm a wheels on the ground rider but don't really hold back on rocky trails in the peaks etc.

They'll probably explode on tomorrows ride now..
