I'm after some BIG nobbly 29er rubber*. Bonty FR3's are a bit small and I can't find WTB dissents other than Jenson USA.What gigantically massive tractor tyres would folks recommend for actual sizes rather than manufacturers quoted sizes

any suggestions please

*it's a "what tyre" question so I have arranged to be humanely culled 😀

i'm runnin' a 2.4 ardent up front and a rampage(on a kris holm rim = wider) out back.
both satisfy my needs for big and nobbly stuff just now.

cheers Rorshach, I've seen that before, but can't find any of the blighters other than the ardents. It'll be going to 29mm rims so whatever I end up should give a nice fat boy tyre.

Nobby nic is available in the 2.35 clown wheel size but it depends how big it really is, the old 2.4 ralphs where huge and 2.25 nics area a nice size but I want mahoosive 😉

I'm building an all mountain, 29er, singlespeed 😆

Ton, where did you get the dissents from?

I better be rigid

I didn't think you would be quite so aroused by the idea 😆

I'm using a certain little frame that happens to be knocking around as a spare in the pile of bike bits with an odd geometry that would work a treat with some fat rubber, niche bars and a bearded fool riding it. The geometry is already biased to be being ace for descending and climbing is good as long as you stand up and use brute force and ignorance.

It'll only fit a 2.3 in the back so I'll probably chuck a stout one up my rear

Mr Slapp, when are you comming out (and riding) again. We could do with some more trail side bike rack stances 😆

Widest on the rims I use is Racing Ralph followed by Rampages (which are also a few mm smaller diameter)

Hey up Tazz, Im still recovering from my recent excursion from the extreme fire road when I was mincing along on my attention seeking clown wheeled over geared radical gnarrcore bike. It appears that as an after effect I have a severe case of alopecia and my helmet no longer fits. 😳

Im away for the week end next week but should be back out 25th June if you are going? 😀

has anybody seen the rubber queen 29ers yet, I'm hoping they're going to follow in the tradition of the ikkle wheel versions and be monsters
