This looks good, potential for a broken bone I suspect

Emergency stop button tantalisingly out of reach.

a 'pull to stop' attached to the bars would be better, surely?

Would buy the best set of winter clothing and lights money could buy and still have change for a few bikes. I don't understand.

I've got a set of rollers which cost me less that £200 and they're fantastic.

I use them 2-5 times a week and feel great for doing so. Come spring I'll be better prepared for the open [s]road[/s] trail, I meant trails.
😉

Or you could just spend the winter somewhere dry and warm, a few times.

I suspect there'll be few City chaps happy to spend some of their bonuses on this. I use an Elite RealAxiom so can see the appeal over the cheaper options mentioned here.

If you got a knobbly belt you could pretend you were off road or on the cobblestones 🙂

It's nice, but could have 6 months in Oz for that price. I know which I'd rather!
.
I suspect it would still be boring. I have one of the onld i-magic trainers, (ebay, not full price!) it is marginally less dull than a conventional turbo but would still rather just go running in the rubbish weather if it's too bad to ride.

I wouldn't buy anything from Taxc.

Turbo & Sufferfest is the way to go.

I think it's power meter look a bit out, no way is he producing 450W in the small ring and middle sprocket at that cadence.

Still wouldn't say no to it if I got it as a prezzy.
