Currently running a Halo Aerowarrior with the 130mm converter which is just grand for now but wondering what other folks are using.

I appreciate that this is fairly niche. 🙂

I use a Surly Ultra hub on the Karate Monkey, no problems so far.......coped with the Gravel Dash, beach riding and Ashton Court most nights....

I agree with lazybike. I've always got on well with my velo solo setup. The only problem I can imagine is if you have rear facing dropouts, as standard rear disk hubs are generally qr axles rather than bolts. I think they sell a conversion kit. Always works well on my crosscheck with standard qr and forward facing semi horizontal dropouts.

I used a standard disc hub flipped with a velosolo on the disc mount and no rear brake
