My Giro Montaro has bitten the dust, I was quite happy with it especially liking the quick release light mount. Unfortunately the only colour I like doesn't seem to be available so am looking at alternatives.
I've tried the Sweet Protection Bushwhacker which I actually preferred over the Giro but was just a little narrow in the biggest size.
The POC Tectal looked promising but made my head look absolutely massive (I already have quite a big head).
So basically looking for recommendations for a helmet similarly shaped to the Montaro, that doesn't  make my head look ten times the size and available in more restrained colours.
I just changed to the Montaro so cant help I am afraid do you mind me asking what color you went for.
I had the titanium grey, but can't seem to find another in large and not keen on any of the others colours.
I just bought a Bell 4forty - seems a nice balance of small enough shape, good coverage etc. It is a pressie for next month, so not see it in anger yet. Nicely made - much better than my 7IDP.
