Looking to replace the headset or preferably bearings on my 2012 Fuel EX and cant seem to find any of the parts anywhere, assumed it would just be a normal integrated headset but appears the bearings seat directly on the frame? Unless I have a lot more cleaning to do.
It has a Crane creek headset which does not appear to be listed on the crane creek site and was hoping to find some better quality bearings such as Hope but all the headsets I can find use cups to sit the bearings in.
Have I missed something?
Any recommendations on where to get spares from would be appreciated, kind of looks like I'm stuck with buying Trek original equipment.
I use a hope pick n mix one.

Second the Hope replacements - my old 2011 Trek 8 was "indexed" straight ahead, and the replacement Hope parts do the job - and i know i can get new bearing fairly easily. PS if your headset's gone the BB will probably follow just shortly afterwards - i can recommend the Hope replacement one too....
