Need a new one for a 97 Zaskar. FSA Orbit 2 still decent these days? (yes, it's been that long since I've purchased a headset!)

Yeah 2nd hand King for about $100 (50/60bquid). Always fancied a blingy one. J&l industries does a nice ti one for $100 too. Anyone tried these?

Probs sting me on import charges and delivery....

May have fked up. Ordered an anodised blue FSA stem off ebay for $40 - standard 1 1/8th but noticed 34 and 44mm sizing.... Ordered a 34mm and paid but now I'm like what.... 34 or 44mm that's not a measurement I recall from other headset purchases!!! Have I just bought something that won't fit?

34mm is the old skool straight head tube. 44mm is newer straight head tube that'll also take a tapered fork, or the top of a tapered head tube. 34 is what you want I would think.

Yup I bought correctly.

I'm my eagerness to fit it... (sans correct tools) I fitter the new one with a block of wood and a rubber mallet. Bahaha. Went in like a dream.
