Pair of merino wool glove liners for £8, and an attempted endura MT500 shorts purchase from LBS, but they only had Large not fat boy specials. Not exactly single handedly defeating the credit crunch, I'm sure you've done better. Bits are good, bikes are betterer though..

Some Specialized '10 Dexter wind/water resistant gloves

The Specialized concept shop in harrogate had pretty much every other glove they do except for that glove in my size. Evans (even online) only seem to do the summer specialized golves

They haven't satisfied my urges to buy bike stuff though. Must .. buy .. something ..

A set of lovely American Classic wheels arrived earlier in the week but SWMBO won't let me have them until my birthday at the start of March.

An old 2003 Kona Unit from the classified, an on one double fix hub, and am just in the middle of buying some 29er rims, so a fixed 69er looks like it's on the cards (one of the 29er rims is going to a mate)

Judy butter and red rum lubricant as I'm building up to the rite of passage that is servicing my own forks. I feel that there's a fair bit more building up to be done yet though, mind. The exciting bit's next - some circlip pliers. Woohoo!

Its been a bad week...

Magura Thor's
Middleburn middle ring
XT cassette
SRAM chain
Ti shifter bolts 🙄
Magura adaptor s/h

I couldn't resist the Thor's in the On One sale, and the rest due to knackered parts (except the £4 'vanity' purchase).

Rocky Mountain Blizzard half price off wiggle plus a pretty good build (sid teams, XCones, Elixir CR carbons , XT drive etc etc) for a very excited Mrs B.

now I am waiting on the 26.8 (! knew there was a reason the frame was cheap) seatpost and hosebarbs so I can trim the brakes and we're done!

Two Ritchey saddles (one for MTB one for hack/commuter bike), and a pair of full finger Oakley gloves, OK these are not strictly bike specific, but for £13.95 from the Oakley store at Cheshire Oaks they're cheap enough to use on the bike, and if they get shredded they're cheaper than a lot of other full finger gloves out there.

Some second hand bars to replace my old Reetard ones which will snap sooner or later given the gouges I've taken out of them.

This afternoon, I'm going to order some oil, some grease and some Fenwicks. And a crappy style saddle clamp so that I can fit a proper saddle to the exercise bike 😀

Some green Oury lock on grips and blue clamps.

No other purchases on the cards atm but I might stick my flat bars and ends back on and get some skinnier road/commute tyres cos that's 90% of my riding atm.

Christ that pink on-one is a offence against human rights.

As for purchases - just cables. Although it is to get my Dew back on the road and possibly using it as a do-all get-around-and-training bike whilst I'm away working. I may fit a powertap to it...

I was abstaining and had been doing quite well since feb. However my forks broke so I sent them away for a repair and service. Then I decided as the bike was out of action and I was busy moving house I would drop my frame off to be powder coated.

Got a few bits to refurb my commuter as well. But since it's snowing again and they are gritting it can stay in the box until it warms up (June?)
