Better than my blackout roller blind and (restricted) tax code for next year.
A super sexy Paul smith trench coat - I plan to take up flashing as a hobby.
Bike matches placemats. Nice!
11 sp ultegra cassette and KMC chain, a Di2 cable, and a press fit BB tool here. Nothing particularly exciting.
Oh and a couple of Planet X double wheelbags yesterday. A bargain at 12 quid each and seem pretty decent too. Even turned up on time!
a rear door switch , a bunk ladder and a truma e2400 PCB for the Campervan.
A replacement bin for our ageing Dyson hoover. Bought on e-bay and within 4 hours of purchase it was no longer required.
OH managed to empty our Dyson and throw out an important component that meant it wouldnt work correctly without it. Claimed she hadn't emptied it for a couple of weeks, so I assumed the missing bit was now landfill. Took the big bag out of the kitchen bin on monday, only to feel what was suspiciously like the missing part at the bottom of the bag. Bingo.
So im £10 down.
FML.
2 m5 stainless steel bolts.
Two head torches, some batteries, a radiator and some stanns fluid.
Morvelo f*** cancer socks. After finding out at the weekend my Godfather suddenly got diagnosed with terminal cancer! Know socks won't solve it, but made me feel a tiny bit less cross.
Dunno yet until I get home, but there should be a tyre waiting for me.
I can't wait for friday though.......
Spokes for my wheels. I don't have enough nipples though. Denied!
Also a 2.4 dhr2 minion, it's 1 louder.
2x tyres, for a bike I haven't ridden for best part of a year, because they were cheap.
I've promised myself I'll try and get round to fitting them this year.
An FWE 500 lumen USB charging front light, going to start riding to work a couple of times a week and needed something I could charge in work.
Thats about as exciting as it gets for me, my new frame is not due for another 3 - 4 weeks...
Some replacement cycling glasses, which saved me from fessing up to losing the pair that the mother-in-law bought me for Christmas. All through the power of the forum!
a PCN 🙄 and the little guys' acceptance into 1st choice of secondary schools
I like that Trek. I'll have to add that to the 'list of things I never thought I'd say' 🙂
I was hoping to get my new (ex-demo) IBIS MOJO 3 today. Oh well never mind it'll come tomorrow. Nope, now it's coming on Friday as the bike shop couldn't find a box to put it in. I promise you I am not making that up!
Still we did get the credit card bill, new tax codes and various other items of general despondency.
Nothing 😥
But he did deliver my SJS Cycles order to somewhere in Wolverhampton, a little bit short of its intended target in Edinburgh but hey-ho.

According to the online wotsit the package weighs 19kilos! Am quite excited about what it may contain
An official SRU Scotland baby-grow so me and micro ferrals can be matching for the Calcutta Cup 🙂
For the avoidance of doubt I will just be wearing a jersey not a massive blue onesie 😆
Nice Trek mister! Been thinking about a Fuel myself.
I got some prescription polychromic Bolle Baller riding glasses which I'll rinse through expenses as they are also EN166 safety glass rated, chortle!
Hoping my bargain Scott waterproof shorts turn up in time for tomorrow's no doubt minging night ride
Some Scraper rims on Shimano hubs, a love mud Confusius bar and an Alpkit Stem Cell. Bring the Spring!
some orange and black props for my drone 🙂

New sealed bearings for my hubs. Riding through a Ridgeway mudfest then leaving the wheels unwashed for a month wasn't a good idea.
Fibrenet BT hub also arrived (meanwhile keeping an eye on the BT thread).
New card reader from the bank.
A Mora 106 narrow Sloyd carving/whittling knife, a Mora 164 hooked carving knife and a metre of 3M heat shrink for the laptop power cable that the puppy almost chewed through.
A 140mm U-Turn Sektor coil from On-One to go in the cheap Revs. Fits perfectly.
How considering a frankenfork conversion on the Pikes a la CRConception kit.
Five capacitors from RS for my CD player.
I cut the packet of caps open and turned the iron on. Then I had a look at the
power supply board and I have replaced all the caps!

I got my shock and fork back from tf tuned. my cc inline now how has the updated internals and my pike had been converted to coil. cant wait to try them out.
Two big lumps of foam for outfitting my new kayak.
A schwalbe durano plus for the commuter. Whooo!
Was trying to spin it out for another month or two but I must have knocked my mudguard and there's a decent groove in the sidewall that I'm not happy about at all.
Still it's done 4-5000 miles, got my moneys worth out of it.
Letter from BT saying prices are going up in April (I thought I had an agreed deal until September?)
TM Lewins catalogue, cos there's a "y" in the day
2 wimmin's clothes catalogues, one for wife, and one for previous occupant who moved out over 2 years ago.

Park tool tray for the above
Park P-Handle allen key set as I've always fancied one
Park Mug for work as my work mug is perma-stained and it looks horrible
Royal Matrix Jacket as my old Altura one is no longer waterproof - only lasted about 17 years 😆
2 mystery packets from China. I order a lot of little things from china, for my toy side business/stupid hobby and it's great because in the 4-8 weeks they take to arrive, I totally forget I ordered them, so every one is like a secret santa from past me.
1kg of grade A peri-peri billtong! 😀
A Dirt Flap - can't wait to try it out tonight!!
🙂
203mmm disc and a very short but light stem. All up, €30

Still nothing. I'm remaining calm* about my first world non delivery issue
* mostly calm. With occasional 'How HARD CAN IT BE' thrown in.
Also still waiting. Da dum, da dum, da dum da dum......
It's only fork oil and grease, but still, my lad could do with a serviced fork before the weekend.
So far this week the postman has left three "sorry we missed you" cards. One should be my Mamil Sports hoody, one should be a seatpost bought through here, the third is something for MrsMC. Will be like Christmas here tomorrow once I've been to the parcels office.
Today the Royal Mail appears to have delivered my package to the wrong delivery office instead of to my work, at least I think that's what's happened because funnily enough the term "mis-sort" is not in their online glossary of tracking terms but it is in my tracking report for my packet. 👿
2 x 180mm rotors, an ACS claw freewheel, and a T handled T25 tool.
The SS bike's getting some upgrades!
a A set of clear lenses for riding glasses came on Wednesday, old pair were sooo scratched I couldn't actually see out of them. Waiting on my first set of contact lenses bought online, and a book from Amazon today

A Toslink Optical splitter for the TV/Surround interface.
Some Vitoria latex tubes and a pair of long valves. Can't get excited about inner tubes but will be excited when my new deep section carbon wheels arrive.
A Mobi pressure washer, means I can wash the bike down at the end of the ride rather than in the car park when all the mud has set solid as I get home!
Should get my Team Surrey hat and midlayer today. Unfortunately it'll be a few weeks before the cycling kit arrives, so I might have to race the first national XC in old Bikesoup kit or some borrowed plain stuff 🙁
It's arrived. Apparently there is a second package that has the wheels in 🙂

Postman brought me 2 rims just now, one 30mm internal, the other 24mm, and they're not 26" (shock horror).
