As part of the bleeding process I have been covering the small inner o-ring and the outsides of each piston with Castrol Multipurpose grease.
I have just come across this...

I'm using 5.1 brake fluid as per the Avid instructions. Is it worth trying the Avid stuff? Does/ Could the Castrol grease contaminate the brake fluid? I'm asking as it seems to need bleeding again a little sooner then I would have hoped...
Advice/ experiences much appreciated please.
You want high temperature silicone grease for dot fluid brakes. It's sold under avid pitstop brand, hope use hunter, I've used RS.
Using greases not designed for the brake system can damage rubber parts and contaminate brake fluid
