I was all set to have my first go at fork servicing this weekend but was just looking through the Sektor manual and it says to use "suspension oil soluble" grease. I was planning on just using some normal black lithium grease that I use for other bike stuff as I have a massive tub of it but will this somehow harm the internals? Or will any old grease do?
Stendec Easy Glide for me.
Whatever you use, you don't need much so a little goes far
Buzzy's Slick Honey.
I just use normal halfords Teflon grease
About to do mine with rock n roll super slick fork grease:)
Stendec fork grease has done me well for the last four years (one small pot)
Ok so can I use the lithium grease or is it not gonna last very well? If not then I'll get the cheapest of the above recommendations, thanks 🙂
Don't put tractor grease in your forks.
