So, doing the King Alfred’s Way in a couple of weeks. Doing it on a 29er with Lauf forks.

Fancy something a bit faster rolling than the Bonty xr4s I have right now.

Schwalbe G one the way to go? Other suggestions?

I used a maxxis ss (because I had one) it was a good tyre. The only time I struggled was when it rained and the chalk climbs were almost impossible.

Schwalbe G one the way to go?

My friend ran these tyres and got several punctures. There was a section of road a farmer had layed with bits of tiles and bricks, sliced his tyre.

If the weather is good then go for a fast rolling tyre but maybe a bit more puncture protection than the G ones.
