Does anyone know what frames use a 190*51 / 7.5*2 shock? Found a crack in my frame this morning so am looking to try and find out about replacements.

Frame was a Iron Horse Mk3 so no chance of replacement parts and i had just bought a new to me shock for it.

Thanks all

Rusty

Buying a new frame just to fit your shock?

Older Marins I think...WIN!

A possibility... Having spunked the best part of £250 on it and not used it I wouldn't think ill get that back.

I know of Turner 5 Spots and Orange 5's however the 5 spot is not in manufacture and I tested a 5 today and didn't really get the feeling I'd want to own one.

05/06 Giant Trance used a 190*50, as did similar age Spesh stumpjumper FSRs. Not sure if anything is still using that size though, maybe small travel XC frames?

New covert 26 are 8.5 x2.5 ( I also looked for a frame to fit my dbair 8.5x2.5 and it was on the list)

Pridds, looking at the transition site the 2011 and 2012 alu coverts have the same shock. Not sure about 2013 alu but 2013 carbon is a no go for me, cheers for the heads up.

Toys, dropped them an email last night to see if they had any more, that sale has now finished so I may have missed the boat.

Just to confirm a post above 2007 Stumpjumper FSRs do. Or at least my one, with the brain, does.

This might be useful, there's a few bikes using that size on the list.
Banshee Spitfire is one. Several Turners too.

You know that, of course, an Orange 5 takes this shock too?

2009 Spesh FSR xc was 185x45, but mine came (2nd hand) with a 190x50. Seems to work OK

Cove could be a possibility, with the canyon however I have not ridden a Horst link frame yet.

Toys - rode a five for a day at glentress yesterday... Not for me, didn't really gel with it.

Edit cheers brant will take a look at them too
