I am in the market for a new frame and thinking about the Ibis Mojo HD - before I settle on this....what would you buy and why?
I am looking for a 'do it all' bike and although I'll probably get shot down for using the term 'All Mountain', that gives you an idea of the type of frame I'm after.
140/150/160mm rear travel & up to 160mm forks.
Is there anything new on the market that I should be considering?
I've been looking into this lately. Here is my list of 160mm frames/bikes I've looked at so far:
Ibis Mojo HD (140 or 160)
Transition Covert
Santa Cruz Nomad (carbon and ally)
Giant Reign
Nukeproof Mega
Orange Alpine 160
Nicolai Helius AM
Titus El Guapo
Lapierre Spicy
Spesh Enduro
Trek Remedy
Trek Slash
Mondraker Dune
SC Heckler
Intense...
Cove G-spot
Got to say these Knolly frames look good
Money no object....... Helius AM.
Because my Helius CC is superb and a "bigger" version would be something special.
Depends on your budget. I got a YT Wicked recently and for the money, it's absolutely amazing.
I would be tempted to get a heckler, and spend all the money you saved on a CCDB, some fox 36's, an amazing wheel set and a bling group set.
Stumpjumper Evo and swap the parts to ones you prefer.
And Knolly make top notch bikes. My mates Endorphin gets nothing but praise.
