I was just thinking, my Qoroz frame came with no frame number. I never got around to putting one on it.
So, initials, house number and post code, or something less obvious ?
Stamped or engraved ? I've got the tools for both, but never tried them on titanium. How hard is it ?

pure titanium is relatively soft in it's annealed condition but work hardens very quickly which can blunt tools if the wrong cutting speed is used or lack of cutting fluid. Alloys will generally be harder. Drawn tubes will be relatively hard if not subsequently heat treated

I thought 668 was the fax number of the beast.

My initial thought was the birthday of the bike, but 5318008 wins hands down. 😆

Do you not have a feeling that when this frame breaks, the crack will start at one of the stress concentration points on your DIY serial number? 😉
