Upgrading my FS bike. I'd like to build a hardcore hardtail out of the spares. I've got some 26" wheels and tapered 160mm forks. Rear wheel needs to be 10mm through axle too.

Do you mean a quick release rear wheel or bolt through axle? Guessing non-boost? I’d be looking for a second hand Cotic BFe 26 but check it’s one with the 44mm head tube which can take a tapered steerer.

You could get an old Stanton Slackline, Ragley, or similar if you want to use the 26 wheels. Tou might even find an old Chromag doing the rounds somewhere.
Or get something 275 and upgrade the wheels at a later date.
