You cant adjust 36 vanillas. Therefore use the pikes

Dont you have to cut the spring on the Vans to run them at 140?

Leave the Vans at 160 and eat rocks.

Is it a new sov or and old one? Old ones are great with 140mm Pikes new ones apparently work well at 160mm but I havnt tried a new one.

It's a new frame - just can't wait to get it built.

Another Q is do I get the pikes push tuned before I fit them?

Try it with the 160mm Van's, YOU might like it.

Try the Pike's without the push, YOU might not benefit from the push.

I think using it with 160mm forks is sort of missing the point of "down sizing to a hardtail"

Use your pikes, set em at about 120mm.

I'd run them at 140. I've tried longer on my sovereign and 140 is the sweet spot
