looking for a cheap fork, must have canti bosses and a steerer >190mm.

What should I look out for second hand??

Ally stanchions. Chrome's common at the budget end of the market, but best avoided. Marzocchi MX or similar are good value, but £50 is bargain basement territory so you may have to be patient waiting for something decent in your budget.

I realise that I'll have to be patient.
Thinking RS Dart from CRC might be the best bet.

I'd say. Brand new warrantied fork with uncut steerer and v mounts for £49.99 delivered...thats a bargain

I bought some Z3 flylights off e-bay i got them £70 delivered which would have been cheaper of i'd have collected, IMO they are a bargain for my commute bike, Light as a feather and dual air 😀
