I appreciate this is probably a proper noob question...
I've just bought some 27.5" XM1501 wheels second hand. The vendor told me the front wheel was perfect but the rear rim was dinged, which it is. What DT Swiss rim do XM1501s run on so I can just get the rear wheel rebuilt? The XM401 looks about right but if someone knows the 'perfect' one, please do tell!

Xm401 looks right
Those rims come with new squorx nipples and washers too.

XM 401 is the same rim with different name/graphics.
