If you can afford the Reverb I'd say it was a no-brainer.
I'm on a Joplin and I don't expect it to last much longer despite being in for service with 2pure.

reverb seems to be the favourite around where I live.

Gravity Dropper!

Simple, solid, ugly as a really ugly thing; but awesome. You can't see the boot when you're riding 😉

I like that the mechanism has little to fail, I have a turbo with remote lever.

Joplin owner - lots of wiggle, bought it as needing a service so serviced it - dead easy.
Reverb - mega £££ and search for the (quite a few) negative comments about them
Gravity Dropper - answer to the aboves problems. Or not. Seems to be a growing number of those ****ing up too.
Pure Racing - same as above. Seemed to be the answer for disgruntled Joplin owners, now the horror stories are coming out.

If it was my money again, I'd be getting a Joplin 4 and some 5WT oil and downloading the service instructions from the net and riding...

My new Joplin 4R lasted almost a whole hour before it broke. Awaiting a warranty replacement.

I did have the non-remote version for a year though and had no problems with it.
