Got a Crank Brothers Highline 3 at the moment which has been fine so far but I need to change the travel so wondering what else is recommended for similar money?
Brand X and spend the difference on coke & hookers.

Brand X and spend the difference on coke & hookers.
Agree... they just need to go up and down reliably... sod all difference in use.
coke & hookers.

fnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrr
I agree they do just need to go up and down reliably.
I don't use dropper posts though so would it like to say.
Depends if you need a specific length and therefore a specific insertion.
OneUp V2.
Oneup is very hard to argue with tbh- especially if you can fit the longer ones in your frame. I mean, my Bikeyokes are a nicer product, and their customer service is phenomenal... But they're so damn expensive.
Only 2 to consider to be honest.
BX (my favourite) or the the One Up.

I bought 2 Brand Xs from Startcycles (under £100 at the time) Bargain! Work fine (one had to have some air put in, the other didn't, strangely)
They work well and have absolutely no sideways play, which I was surprised about after having a few Reverbs.
Also, the lever... just can't fathom why people go on about "upgrading" them, they are a slight faff to fit, but apart from that, they are fine.

I had an xfusion one come on a bike recently, and whilst not the longest drop I like, it’s surprisingly good actually. It has some serious heft to it though.
I’ve exclusively used the OneUp post (V1 & V2) and they have been faultless on my bikes, I do notice with frame that have internal cable runs they make the OneUp stiff to use as it relies on the outer moving slightly (although They have a different actuator now I believe?)
Managed to pick up a second hand long drop BikeYoke recently for not much money which is lovely also, but outrageously expensive new.
