I never reuse?
Not answering your question, but why dont you resuse them?
fix them with proper patches.
Alternatively make a crossbow/ small seige engine out of them.
More usefully cut them into small hoops like elastic bands as they last much longer than them and use them to secure bike cables/ lines to my bike.
ON a rainy day with nothing else to do I sit down and repair them. Which I why I have an enormous box of them in the shed...
Yeh, why do you not reuse?
I have a couple of tyres that have at least 3 or 4 puncture repairs in them.
They both survived over 800 miles in majorca recently with no problems.
Oh - and if the hole is only small I often just throw a little sealant in them and you are good to go again.

I fix them, but then never take them out on a ride cos they dont fold up nicely like a new one. Since I never get a puncture at home I never get the opportunity to use one!
If they are too far gone I chop them up in to bands of diff sizes.
I use some bigger bits to cover the gap on my frame mounted pumps ,which normally fills up with mud from the back wheel.
Like the idea of a small siege engine though 🙂
i fix 'em.

Lay them out on a table/bench/whatever, valve at one end rolling pin at the other. Roll towards the valve until there is a bit of a bulge in the tyre, let air out. Repeat until all air is out (normally 1 go sometimes 2) then fold up as small as a brand new one. If you're being really anal (I have done this) wrap in cling film to keep it compact and clean.

😆 😆 😆
new tube. patches weight approx 3g.
I chuck them in the bin.
keep them in the garage under the vague pretence that you will reuse them at some point..
Patch them. Njee can I have your old tubes 😆
Mine go straight in the bin (or in the nearest hedge if I puncture in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty)
I'm to cackhanded to fix them well, I get glue everywhere and they never hold 110psi.
Chain stay protectors....
Njee can I have your old tubes
Yep! I must say at risk of jinxing myself, that I very rarely seem to puncture, so it's unlikely to save you vast amounts of time!
I fix them, of course. Topeak Flypaper FTW. No problems with 120PSI. Rema if I want to do it "properly", but less and less these days as the Topeak patches are so good.
wow, my road tubes are more patch than tube these days and still hold 130PSI.
Admittedly i've not got as many punctures since i started running higher pressure s
I give mine to a drunken sailor.
I tend to bin them if I've replaced them on the road. If I'm sorting it out at home I'll fix it and put it back in. That's usually what happens on my commuter, and I'm quite happy to have tubes with loads of patches on- IMO if the patch has taken properly then they're just as good as a new tube.
But if you fix it and put it straight back in it's obvious if it's good, but if you fix it, test it, deflate it and put it aside I'm not sure I'd quite trust it when I need it months down the line. And I couldn't be bothered to take the new one out and put the old one back in when I get home.
Anyone seen the price of a Stans presta tubeless valve? 😕
I'll be cutting presta valves out of any dead tubes from now on and keeping them...
I bought a pack of ten tubes many years ago. I gave 5 to a friend. Some of them are still on the shelf unopened.
I used one as a sheath to an old chain for making my saddle harder to steal - I leave it around london
