Hi all.

Long time no see. Still in Saudi with the worst biking imaginable.

I've been commuting within the compound and my wife has taken a liking to my bike ... so what do I need to fix it?

Tabs and chainring bolts?

Thanks a lot,

Hard to see what's missing from pic.

But yeah, that's about it.

I think the product you linked to should do it.

The only real pitfall here is if you have bolts from a double/triple ring which are too deep for the single ring, at which point you have to source washers to pack them out. But designed-for-purpose bolts should be fine I think.

I have to ask though... How did you lose the existing bolts? Terrible maintenance accident? Highly selective local thieves?

I'd just had it lightly serviced (very lazy) and blame but can't prove it was the guy.

If you're fitting new chainring bolts, you need a peg/chainring bolt spanner.

One stop shop - their chainring bolts are Allen key both sides so no peg spanner required.

Thanks all. I ordered the narrow bolts and spacers just in case. I've got the tools but went for the superstar anyway.
